The counter, explained
Demo reels are the point of The VPF. Credits are the record of how long you have been at them and what that time has unlocked. They land for turning up and playing, and there is no second route in: nothing sells them, nothing tops them up, and nothing converts them back the other way.
Six ways the balance grows
Five of the six settle by themselves. Only the daily check-in asks you to press anything.
Ten tiers, pebble to zenith
XP accrues alongside credits and only ever moves one way. It decides your tier, and the tier decides how quickly minutes turn into credits. The multiplier applies to playtime credits and nothing else — check-ins, discovery payments and achievements pay flat at every rung.
The 30-day cycle
Each consecutive day pays a little more than the one before. Days 7, 14 and 21 add milestone bonuses of 180, 440 and 640 on top of the running total. Clear all thirty and a closing payment of 2,400 credits and 620 XP arrives before the counter drops back to day one. Break the chain and the cycle restarts from the beginning — the balance you have built is not touched by it.
Where credits go
One destination, and it is decorative.
Avatar rings
Six of them, Pebble Ring through Glacier Ring. Each asks for a balance and a tier at the same time, so a large pile of credits alone will not carry you to the last one.
Profile themes
Four paper tints for the profile page — Paper, Linen, Sage and Blush. Credits only, no tier attached.
That is the whole list
Credits never enter a game. Demo reels run on the provider's own free-play build, and nothing held on your account reaches inside them.
Five things the counter is not
- Not for sale. No shop stocks them and no page on this site takes payment.
- Not transferable. They do not move to another account, to another person, or to anything else.
- Not convertible. No withdrawal, no redemption, no exchange for money, prizes or goods.
- Not stakeable. Every title runs in free demo mode, where there is no wager to place.
- Not worth anything. The balance carries no monetary value, here or anywhere else.
The counter exists to mark progress and unlock cosmetic profile items. That is the extent of it.

Questions
Is an account needed before credits start?
Yes. The balance belongs to an account, and an account is what opens the demo player. Signing up is free, takes a few seconds and never asks for payment details.
Is there any way to buy credits?
None. We do not sell them and we never request payment information. Every credit sitting on a balance was earned through free activity on the site.
Could I ever cash out a balance?
No. Credits carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money, prizes or anything else of value. There is no mechanism for it, and none is planned.
Why cap earning at 120 minutes?
Because a system that pays for an abandoned tab is a bad system. Playtime credits stop at the cap each day, while check-ins, discovery payments and achievements carry on unaffected.
Does the clock keep running in a background tab?
No. The minute counter only advances while the tab is in front of you. Switch away and it waits; come back and it picks up where it left off.
What happens to progress when I log out?
Nothing at all. Balance, XP, tier, streak and achievements belong to the account rather than the session. Return in a month and every figure is where you left it.
I broke my streak. What did that cost?
Only the streak. The cycle drops back to day one, and credits, XP, tier and achievements are untouched by the reset.
Can a balance change what a slot does?
No. Demo builds come straight from the provider and behave identically for everyone who opens them. Your tier and balance are invisible to the reel.
